Went years ago for about a week, terrible experience. The activities were bland but that's not what makes it terrible... The counsellors (at a camp that claimed to be bilingual) forced us to speak French under punishment of being yelled at and forced to do various exercises, an incredibly traumatizing experience. I tried to get them to let me contact my parents to pick me up, I wasn't successful.

One of the best canoe camping places to go you can rent a canoe if you don't have one and they give you all the equipment and give you advice on the best places to go camp at. It is also an amazing summer camp for your kids, I've had the best experiences of my life at that camp. Highly recommend

My best childhood memories are from my summers here 25 years ago. I went every summer until I was 14 and remember every one. The staff and surroundings and activities were always exceptional. My daughter has now been going every summer (except 2020, sigh) and every year can't wait to get back. She always comes back happiest from her time at Air Eau Bois. 100% would recommend.

Awsome place for rent your canoes, park your car, get information, and go for some adventures. Canoe/Camping, Portage/Camping or just a lovely day in the wild nature. Poisson Blanc QC

Lovely camping ground! Very busy though, so be sure to get there early if you want a good island otherwise you'll end up on the scraps. But the scraps are still nice. Only thing is that it's really crowded with seadoos and pantoons everywhere though. Expect to bring your own wood or to buy some there for fires though. It's only 8$ per bag so it's not that expensive. I used about a bag and a half for a long night with a decent fire going. For the activities, the workers are awesome! You can rent kayaks and stuff, so that's great. They're really nice and courteous, the food at the casse-croûte is really tasty!

WARNING: EMPLOYEE THEFT. Don't send any expensive equipment with your child. My brother had his Cat's Meow" sleeping bag stolen in Sept 2019."

I have been camping in that area all my life. It is a well maintained reservoir that hosts many camping sites accessible by boat, canoe and some by car. Please respect the Leave No Trace guidelines to help preserve the environment.

They stay was good in general. We paid for an archery session. It was 11 AM and we were told that the next available spot available at 2 PM. At 1 PM, the storm was getting close. I asked if there is any chance to refund or something, we couldn't play under the rain since we have 10 kids.I was told the only way to get refund was thunderstorm" coming. This is a bad management. I asked twice nicely and even requested to talk to the manager. The manager did not even talk to me. He/she (I don't know) just said they can delay the session to 3 PM. I did not think we can play in the socking wet weather. The rain at 2 PM was really heavy.Long story short

Excellent spot for a family. We had an all season cabin. Nice warm propane heater wood delivered daily with drinkable water. Great medium difficulty hike and a nice obstacle course for kids.

Context : We rented a canoe for a long weekend of canoe camping, with portaging from one lake to another.1. While the staff was quite friendly, they did not have any knowledge of the canoe-camping routes. This made planning a 3 day trip very difficult. At many other canoe-camping rental locations the staff can give very detailed overview of different trip options from 1 day to many-day trips.2. Although we asked upon reservation for a light weight canoe, they did not reserve one for us. The day we arrived we had to settle for the lightest canoe they still had on hand, which was not light.3. The canoe rented to us was not in great condition. The seats were rotting and one of the 4 points that the seat attaches to the canoe broke on day one. Thankfully we had thin rope to make a repair, otherwise we would have had a very uncomfortable trip.
